Through this system, you easily set up lab orders for your patients. You can even put requisitions on hold to perform at a later date or to be done at a Quest Diagnostics Service Center.
If you don’t have Care360, Quest Diagnostics labs can be ordered through your EMR system.
If you have general Quest Diagnostics requisition forms in your office, you can use them to request a test. For gastroenterology requests, simply write in the test code. The code for the Celiac Disease Comprehensive Panel, Infant (for ages under 4) is 15981. The code for the Celiac Disease Comprehensive Panel (for ages 4 and up) is 19955. You can write a prescription for your patient to take to a nearby Quest Diagnostics Service Center if you do not do the blood testing in your office.
